Beginnings
Born on real construction projects
Kinetic BIM grew out of Kinetic Build, a New Zealand BIM and building-services consultancy founded in 2022. Working across the building lifecycle — from design through to handover — we kept hitting the same repetitive, error-prone tasks in Revit: tagging, dimensioning, sheet admin, QA and clash coordination.
So we built tools to do them properly. Kinetic BIM packages that work into six production-hardened add-ins, refined on live projects rather than in a lab.
